THE
SEA
"
There seems to be an inchoate
longing in each of us for the
sea, which derives perhaps from
the total immersion and security
of the mother's womb. As adults
we recreate these sensations by
immersing ourselves in a warm
bath, standing under a waterfall
or swimming in the ocean. Some
natural spaces that are not made
of water also elicit the filling
of 'within-ness', such as standing
in a dense forest or lying within
a field of wheat."
